Markus is part-qualified as a patent attorney. He handles the filing and prosecution of patent applications in fields including engineering, IT and software. His studies covered the engineering disciplines of electrical and electronic technologies, information technology, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, material science and thermodynamics. Markus’ research prior to joining J A Kemp focused on the field of nanotechnology, specifically optoelectronics of novel two dimensional materials, and super-oleophobicity of optically transparent surfaces by means of hierarchical nanostructures.
